Privacy Policy
Last updated 5 October 2026
PeepMe is not open yet. This site is a single page with a waitlist form, and this policy covers that form and nothing else. When the platform itself opens it will carry its own policy describing what it does; this one will be replaced rather than stretched.
Who we are
PeepMe is operated by Digital Summit LLC. For anything in this policy, write to hello@peep-me.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the waitlist form:
Your name — so we can address you.
Your email address — so we can tell you when PeepMe opens.
Your year of birth — to confirm you are 18 or over. We store the year only, never a full date of birth.
Whether you are joining as a member or a creator — so we can send you the right message.
A link to your profile or page — optional, and only asked of creators.
Your answers to the consent checkboxes, including a "no" to marketing email, which we record so that we honour it.
We also record the date you joined and which page the form was on. Your IP address is used at the moment you submit, to stop one machine flooding the form, and the counter it feeds expires within an hour; it is not stored against your waitlist entry.
What we do not collect
This page carries no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. It sets no cookies. We do not profile you, we do not buy information about you, and nothing here is fed to an advertising network.
What we do with it
We email you when PeepMe opens. If you ticked the optional box, we may also send occasional updates before then — and if you did not, we will not. That is the whole of it. Your address is not sold, rented, or shared for anyone else's marketing.
Who else can see it
The list is held in Google Cloud Firestore (Google Cloud Platform, United States), which stores it on our behalf. No client application can read the list — not even a signed-in one — because the only code with access runs on our servers. Within Digital Summit LLC, access is limited to people administering the waitlist.
We will disclose information if the law requires it. If that ever happens and we are permitted to tell you, we will.
How long we keep it
Until PeepMe opens and you have been invited, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If the project is abandoned, the list is deleted rather than kept. We will not hold your address indefinitely against a launch that may never come.
Your choices
You can, at any time, by writing to hello@peep-me.com:
- ask what we hold about you, and get a copy;
- have it corrected;
- have it deleted, which also removes you from the waitlist;
- withdraw consent to marketing email while staying on the list.
We will act on a deletion request within 30 days. You do not need an account to ask, and we will not require you to create one.
Depending on where you live you may have further rights — for example under the UK and EU GDPR, or the California Consumer Privacy Act — including the right to complain to your data protection authority. Our lawful basis for holding your entry is your consent, which you gave on the form and can withdraw.
Age
The waitlist is for adults. We ask for your year of birth and do not accept entries from anyone under 18. If we learn that an entry belongs to someone under 18, we delete it.
Security
The form is served over HTTPS and submitted to an endpoint that validates everything it receives. The list is stored in Google Cloud with access restricted to our server code. No system is perfect, and we do not claim otherwise.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects what we do with your address, we will email you before it takes effect.
